It’s been four years since What The Hack (WTH) which means it’s time for another great international hacker convention!  This year I’ll be heading to HAR2009 along with my partner Heather and a backpack full of camping and computer gear!  Having unexpectedly sold out of tickets a few weeks ago it was a huge relief today when I was finally able to get us some tickets (big thanks to Bouke).

We did intend on getting our tickets many months ago and have been following the build up to the event for over a year although due to various circumstances were unable to purchase a ticket before it was too late!

This will be our first con and I bet it’s going to be a good one.  Camping, beer and technology – what more could you ask for?!  We didn’t know we were going until an couple of hours ago which came as a huge and welcome surprise, now there’s just the rush to get all our gear and travel arranged.

Taking a look at the program it looks like we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding on which talks to see and what to miss.  It doesn’t look like they’ll be any time in the day to eat or sleep, I guess this is where multi-tasking comes in.  I’m please to see that the IPhone Dev Team will be attending, it will be great to meet the people who make my IPhone what it should be instead of what Apple wanted it to be!

Time to get some flights sorted out and find a decent tent!
